Why have bay windows with blinds between glass?
There are many great benefits of having bay windows with built in blinds:
- Each individual glass panel in your bay window will have its own blind, allowing you to have venetian blinds with no gaps where sunlight can enter. Bay windows often angle out beyond an exterior wall in a square, hexagonal or octagonal shape, this makes having conventional blinds difficult, usually they fix individual blinds to the face of your window frame with space in-between each conventional blind, this allows light to enter. Our built in blinds sit perfectly inside the glass in every individual glass panel in your bay window, which ensures there are no gaps for light to enter
- Our built in blinds take up no additional space! Conventional blinds, whether they are fixed to the face of your bay window frames, or to the wall in front of your bay window, take up additional space which spoils the opening of your bay window, the idea is that having a bay window which angles beyond the face of your outside brick opens up the room and offers additional space, conventional blinds spoil this as they make your bay window look bulkier. Having a blind option whereby the blind is fixed to the wall in front of your window is even worse, as when closed the blind completely removes the benefits of having a bay window. Our built in blinds existinside each sealed glass unit, therefore take up zero additional space
Why have Bay Window with Blinds Between Glass
Integral blinds come with many more benefits:
- No cleaning required! Our built in blinds are inserted in-between two panes of glass, or the sealed unit, and then hermetically sealed, a hermetic seal is both airtight and watertight. Before the hermetic seal is applied in our factory we ensure that the blind is clean and free from any dirt, dust or debris, therefore, when the blind is sealed in-between the two panes of glass it is immaculate, so by the time our built in blinds are installed into your home, you never have to worry about them getting dirty or dusty, you never have to worry about cleaning them again, you simply have to clean the glass as you usually would every now and then
- Cannot become damaged! They last a lot longer as they exist in-between the two panes of toughened glass, they are protected by toughened glass on both sides and therefore are not exposed to become damaged by us or by objects. As a result of this they cannot become damaged like conventional blinds, and even several years after they have been installed they look brand new just as they did on the day they were installed!
