Bifolding Doors with Built in Blinds
We supply only and supply and install UPVC, Aluminium, and Timber Bifolding doors with or without built in blinds. Bifolding doors are extremely popular and in fashion right now and for good reason, they are an excellent choice when it comes to exterior doors for many reasons. The most obvious reason is that when you open the doors they fold and stack away to one side of the opening, allowing you to have almost complete access of the opening, this is excellent for those days where you are having events such as parties and BBQ’s with lots of guests over, as you can open up your home to your outdoor space allowing people to move in and out seamlessly. Bifold doors are available in many colours, styles, configurations and glass options, so whether you have a 2m opening or a 10m opening, bifold doors are an excellent option. Another great reason to have bifold doors is that they give you a large amount of glass area, which allows natural daylight to flood in, and gives you great views of your outdoor space
Sliding Doors with Built in Blinds
Sliding doors are a type of exterior door whereby the doors are opened and closed horizontally by sliding the doors across a track that sits at the bottom and top of the door frame, in the open position the doors will slide in front, behind or inline with each other. We supply only and supply and install UPVC, Aluminium, and Timber sliding doors with or without built in blinds. Sliding doors are another popular choice when it comes to exterior doors and there are many reasons for this, but one of the main reasons they are chosen over bifold doors, is because you are able to have much larger panes of glass as sliding doors are not on hinges, they are also available in slimmer profiles, maximising views and minimising framing of the doors. They are an excellent way to create a larger opening in an external wall, which allows lots of natural daylight to flood in, as well as gives you excellent views of your outdoor space, while having great options when it comes to both security and energy efficiency

French Doors with Built in Blinds
French Doors are another extremely popular choice when it comes to exterior doors, they are very common for smaller openings, they operate on hinges and one or both doors can either open inwards or outwards, giving you full access to the opening, you are much more limited on the size of each door, and therefore size of each glass panel, which is why they are very popular in smaller openings. With larger openings you are still able to have french doors, but with fixed side panels known as sidelights, french doors, especially UPVC, are a more affordable and cost effective option when it comes to exterior doors, especially with limited opening space. Despite the fact they are usually for smaller openings, they are still able to be manufactured to a total width of around 2100mm, which is 1050mm per door, which makes them an excellent source of natural daylight, and because each door has a full glass panel, it gives great views to your outdoor space, as well as seamless access in and out of your home. Our modern french doors come with excellent security options, as well as excellent energy efficiency ratings.
Single Doors with Built in Blinds
Single exterior doors are also available from us in UPVC, Aluminium and Timber, they are a perfect way to provide entry and exit to your home on an elevation of your home where wall space is limited, and access at that elevation is convenient and needed. Although some people choose to have no glass in their single exterior doors, it is possible to have either a half glass panel with a built in blind, or a full glass panel with a built in blind, this allows you to not only have entry and exit, but also having a half or full glass panel allows for natural daylight to enter, and gives you a view of your outdoor space. Having a build in blind allows you to easily control the daylight that can enter, as well as controlling privacy. Our single exterior doors also offer excellent security to prevent intruders, as well as excellent energy efficiency ratings to help prevent heat escaping your home.

Are your existing exterior suitable for Integrated Blinds?
Most existing exterior doors are suitable to have our built in blinds retrofitted, whether they are bifolding doors, french doors, sliding patio doors or single exterior doors, in most cases we will be able to remove the existing glass, and replace your existing glass with new sealed glass units with built in blinds. For you existing exterior doors to be suitable, the existing glazing installed must be 24mm or thicker, this is because the minimum thickness we can manufacture our built in blinds sealed units in is 24mm, with the standard being 28mm in thickness. Our expert surveyors conduct free surveys where we can confirm your accurate glazing sizes for replacement built in blinds, as well as confirm the thickness of your current sealed units.

Why have exterior doors with built in mini blinds?
There are many great benefits of having glass exterior doors with built in blinds:
- No cleaning! Our built in blinds are sealed glass units whereby the blind is sealed in-between the two panes of glass, they are hermetically sealed which is both a watertight and airtight seal, which means that nothing gets in or out. Because we ensure that the blinds are clean and free from any dust or dirt before we seal them, by the time they are sealed and installed into your home, you do not have to worry about cleaning the blinds again for the lifetime of the sealed unit
- Easy to operate! Our built in blinds can be operated in seconds, far quicker than conventional blinds. The built in blinds are operated using two small discreet controls that sit on the perimeter of the face of the glass, the smaller control operates the tilt function, while the larger control operates the raise and lower function, you can raise and lower the blinds in seconds using 1 finger
Why have Built in Blinds in Exterior Doors
Built in Blinds come with many more benefits:
- They look amazing! Conventional blinds often spoil the look and feel of your modern exterior doors, they take up additional space on the face of your doors or in front of your doors, often requiring a headrail or curtain pole to be drilled into the wall in front of your doors, conventional blinds not only interrupt and get in the way of the operation of your external doors, but they also take up additional room and spoil the look and feel of your doors. Our built in blinds exist inside the sealed glass units that you would already have for your doors, therefore they take up no additional space outside of or in front of your doors, this not only maintains, but enhances the stylish, clean and modern look and feel of your doors
- Safe and can't get damaged! As the blinds are protected on both sides by toughened glass, they are not able to become damaged by human contact or objects, meaning that they last far longer than conventional blinds, they are also safe as there are no cords or strings, which can be a hazard to small children and pets
